What began as a friendship at work slowly grew into something more meaningful. At first, the timing wasn’t quite right—but as life aligned, their connection naturally turned into a romantic relationship. Bonded by a shared love for bike riding, snowboarding, and traveling, their story has always been rooted in adventure and genuine connection.
That sense of adventure led to an unforgettable proposal during a snowboarding trip to Tahoe. After a full day on the slopes, the drive home was filled with golden light as the sun set over the lake. A spontaneous stop at King’s Beach turned into a quiet walk along the shoreline, taking photos and soaking in the moment. With the sunset glowing behind them, the proposal unfolded—simple, heartfelt, and perfectly them.
Soon after getting engaged, they hired me as their Yosemite engagement photographer, and we planned an engagement session at Yosemite National Park—a dream location for any couple who loves the outdoors. Although parts of Yosemite, including Glacier Point, were closed at the time, we were still able to explore stunning areas and create a truly beautiful Yosemite National Park engagement session.
Their Yosemite engagement photos felt effortless. They were incredibly laid back, fully present, and deeply involved with one another, no forced moments, just authentic connection. This adventure engagement session in Yosemiteperfectly reflected who they are: relaxed, in love, and completely at ease in nature.
From coworkers to partners for life, from a snowy Tahoe proposal to a breathtaking Yosemite engagement photo session, their story is a reminder that the best moments often happen when you simply show up, stay present, and embrace the adventure together.
