HALF MOON BAY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER: ELENA AND ALVARO SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

I am blessed to witnessed such an Amazing journey of true love and incredible meaning of Marriage.

As I am prepping and editing this images. The song "The time of my life" (from the movie soundtrack Dirty Dancing) still lingers in my mind, it became my instant favorite since last night. I had a blast that I almost forgot that its a 25th wedding anniversary that I am witnessing. The lovely stares to each other and gentle touch and giggles while dancing together. I cant help but wonder how they made the fire burning between them as if it was their first time.

The one I witnessed yesterday is a perfect example of how Marriage should be. Now a days its very rare to witness this kind of happiness and contentment. Their passion and love for each other was tested enough thru time.

Today, I am sharing this precious moment.. As a wedding journalist, moment seeker, I am humbled and happy to be a part of this celebration

Enjoy the moments

our LITTLE PRINCESS nicole

With so much excitement, I wanted to share this lovely session I had with my sweet daughter. Its been an amazing year, I can't believe my little princess is having her first birthday soon.

As a father photographer, I can't help but wait for this moment to come. I always wanted it to be super special for her. I told my wife Nicelle that I wanted a photoshoot for her, A kind of session that is been stylized and curated just like the one we saw on pinterest. It was a crazy idea, I never thought the preparation could take longer than the photoshoot. The funny thing is we prepared the whole detail and props thing for a week and we literally just did the session for 15min. It was just a little time but things turn out what I expected.

Nicole is naturally sweet and adorable. It wasn't so hard for us to have fun and enjoy the moment while we are making this moments infinite.  Me and my wife are so happy for having her. She has given us so much joy and happiness... I wanted this Ordinary day Extraordinary..HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY PRINCESS!!

DARIELLE'S 7TH BIRHTDAY

Last year I have the opportunity of taking photos of Darielle's 7th birthday. Darielle's mom Sheila  is my former co worker in the unit I was working. I remember Sheila to be bubbly and easy going friend. Being with her for a long time, I know hows this party gonna to turn out.

I came in early to set up my gears as I normally do. I met familiar faces and former co workers. An hour before the start time, the venue was already starting to fill in. As as cultural filipino party, there should always "lechon" (roasted pig), pancit (filipino version of chowmien) and abundance of food. The one fun about this party is every body knows every body. Its like one big family having a huge reunion.

What was unique about this event was the kids experience. I felt like the kids as well the adults had a good time. Sheila hired the awesome group that entertained the entire guest the whole night. Personally I was so impressed about the presentation and the organization of the group. I never felt entertain and enthusiastic. After the show, the guest had a good time using the entire dance floor to wrap up the night.

It was so wonderful to be a part of this event. The food, the vibe and the experience was incredible. I cant ask for a better day. Thanks Alda family for this opportunity to capture such an amazing daughter and amazing family.

FALL MINI SESSION: THE NGUYEN FAMILY

I can't ask for a better day. Today Im featuring the photo session of  the Nguyen family. Although it was my first time meeting them. I was so inspired by the jive and contagious sweetness of this family. To Than and her family, I wish them all the best and thank you for this opportunity. I am happy to a be part of this tradition. It was indeed a perfect day for a perfect family!!

THE CADAVILLO

Just when you thought everything was already in plot, the stage was already set. All of the sudden a day before, the weather forecast changed its course on a different direction. And rescheduling it was not even an option. Sometimes the only thing  that matters is just look at the bright side and enjoy the ride. Today I am featuring the CADAVILLOs. Im albeit excited coz they are new here on my blog.

I know that I have done this many times. Its just the timing was bogging me coz we don't normally get  heavy rain in California . Their trust and confidence ,gave me little boost  and prepare me to think ahead and create a contingent plan just incase worst case scenario happens. I believe that creativity comes when I am challenged. I just assure them that a cloudy, gloomy day will have soft, dreamy look to their pictures. I even show Dee some samples of different light scenario of my past shoots. Squeezing in some moment and running towards time was the best part of that day. I can't ask for a better day, it was meant for us.

It was raining frantically, the weather was cold and the ground was  wet. It could never been smooth without them. I was impressed with Dee for pulling out some awesome props and amazing preparedness with this session. This is my first time to do photo session in this area in coyote creek, but damn it was beautiful and magically enchanting.  The session just fell into everything that we had  planned for. I was so inspired by their ingenuity and transparency. It was only a brief session but all of this moments will last a lifetime. Enjoy the photos

THE GELFOND

I have been longing to post this session I had 2 weeks ago. Today Im featuring the Gelfond. They were my first client of this year. We had planned to do this since last year, but because of the tight schedule we were able to do it early this year. Im glad I met this lovely family. Their Love with each other is very contagious. Even though it was freezing, gloomy that day, this doesn't stop me from bringing the best moments of them that day. It was such a beautiful day. This park in Cupertino is a hidden gem. The perfect color and lovely foliage created the perfect backdrop  for this session

For Steve and Olivia thank you for trusting me this precious memories. Stay fab and enjoy the pictures!!
